Parents of ROGD Kids support groups have been established to give parents and primary caregivers a confidential and safe place to express their concerns regarding transgender identities as asserted or adopted by our children, and to receive support from others who share those concerns.

Our groups provide every participant with the opportunity to speak freely about their own personal situation, without fear of judgment.

We avoid discussion of political or religious issues except as they relate to the subject of gender treatment for children.  Participants are expected to respect differing opinions on difficult topics, and we do not impose “litmus tests” or other political or religious standards for group membership.

Parents of ROGD Kids, and group participants, acknowledge that we, as well as our children, may have differing sexual orientations (e.g. heterosexual, homosexual, gay, lesbian and bisexual).  Groups do not discriminate based on sexual orientation.
